What got you into the roofing industry?

After working as an insurance property claims adjuster for 18 years, I needed a change. My knowledge and expertise of roofing/construction made the transition to join the Anchor family an easy decision.

In your own words, what is the Anchor Roofing Difference?

The Anchor Roofing difference is based on (3) fundamentals: trust, honesty and integrity. We are a single point contact company, which helps establish trust, builds relationships and ensures accountability. We are a full service roofing company that stands beyond our work by providing a 10 year labor warranty. Our knowledge of insurance and real estate takes the pressure off of the homeowner as we can handle all communication on their behalf.

What do you love about your job?

I love working for a local company that gives back to the community that I grew up in! The customer comes first. On-site inspections allow me to interact with the customer and enjoy the beautiful scenery that Northern Colorado has. 

What takes up your time outside of Anchor Roofing?

I recently completed all 58 of Colorado’s 14,000′ peaks. I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking and spending time with my family! Go Broncos!

What advice would you give to someone trying to determine a roofer for their roof replacement?

Beware of door knockers or any contractor with out-of-state license plates. Read reviews and research potential companies. Don’t sign a contract or any other paperwork to “allow” a sales person to inspect your roof. Don’t file an insurance claim without having the damage identified by a knowledgeable roofer. Consider installing Class 4 Impact Resistant shingles as this can save you 20%-35% on your annual insurance premium.
